We won't cut you off. You'll get a notification that you've exceeded the limit. You will have a 30-day grace period to upgrade to the Control plan or reduce your tracked spend.
Yes. Whether you spend $50k or $5M a month, the price is $499. We believe you shouldn't be penalized for growing your infrastructure.
We calculate it based on the Effective Savings Rate. For example, if an On-Demand instance costs $1.00/hr and we replace it with a Spot instance costing $0.40/hr, we saved you $0.60. We bill 15% of that $0.60. Detailed reports are available in your dashboard every month.
Absolutely. We use Read-Only access for the Insight and Control tiers. For Autopilot, we use restricted IAM roles with "Least Privilege" principles. We are SOC2 Type II compliant (in progress).
